ABSTRACT: As a result of field studies carried out in various localities in the Turkish Thrace Region between 2014\u20132020, 13 species from the Coreidae family were identified. Among these species, Haploprocta sulcicornis (Fabricius, 1794), Gonocerus acuteangulatus (Goeze, 1778), Ceraleptus lividus Stein, 1858 and Spathocera dalmanii (Schilling, 1829) are new records for the Turkish Thrace Region. In addition, new locality information\u2019s has been added to the distribution area of 9 species, which were previously known to be rare in the Turkish Thrace Region.\n<\/div>\n

ABSTRACT:In this study, the research material consists of samples collected from 27 different localities in around Amasya province between 2020 and 2021. In Amasya province, as a result of the identification of the material collected revealed 6 species belonging to subgenera Geocoris s.str., and one species belonging subgenera Piocoris of the genera Geocoris of the Geocoridae family were identified. Of them, the species Geocoris ater, Geocoris grylloides, Geocoris lineola, Geocoris megacephalus, Geocoris pallidipennis and Geocoris pubescens are new records for the research area of Amasya. The species G. grylloides, G. megacephalus and G. pallidipennis are also a new record for the Geocoridae faunae of Black Sea Region. The species G. grylloides, G. lineola, G. megacephalus and G. pubescens are rare species in the faunae of Amasya. In this study, was given on the Juglans-inhabiting as a hostplant of Turkey, they are 47 species belonging to 8 families of Heteroptera.\n<\/div>\n

ABSTRACT: This study was conducted based on material collected and identified by foreign scientists between 1932 and 1972 and housed in the Nazife Tuatay Plant Protection Museum (NTM) at the Directorate of Plant Protection Central Research Institute in the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. \nThe first part of the contribution to the knowledge of Heteroptera fauna of Turkey covered the infraorder Pentatomomorpha. The second part includes the infraorders Cimicomorpha, Nepomorpha, Gerromorpha. For this purpose, 77 species and subspecies belonging to 53 genera belonging to 8 families were discussed in this study. \nCurrent names for many species are provided and corrected. \n<\/div>\n

ABSTRACT: In this study, Heteroptera records belonging to different species taxa collected from Kastamonu and Bart\u0131n provinces in 2019 were reviewed. In this study, 3 species of 2 genera from Anthocoridae, 3 species of 3 genera from Coreidae, 2 species of 2 genera from Cydnidae, 7 species of 7 genera from Lygaeidae, 8 species of 6 genera from Miridae, 3 species of 3 genera from Nabidae, 6 species of 5 genera from Pentatomidae, 1 species of 1 genus from Pyrrhocoridae, 1 species of 1 genus from Reduviidae, 6 species of 4 genera from Rhopalidae, and 3 species of 3 genera from Tingidae were recorded. \nIn total, 43 species from 37 genera of 11 families were recorded in Kastamonu and Bart\u0131n provinces. Among them, Coreus marginatus (Linnaeus, 1758) (Coreidae), Nysius graminicola (Kolenati, 1845) (Lygaeidae), Lygus pratensis (Linnaeus, 1758), Orthops (Montanorthops) forelii Fieber, 1858 (Miridae), Nabis (Nabis) pseudoferus Remane, 1949 (Nabidae), Dolycoris baccarum (Linnaeus, 1758) (Pentatomidae), Corizus hyoscyami hyoscyami (Linnaeus, 1758) and Rhopalus (Rhopalus) subrufus (Gmelin, 1790) (Rhopalidae) have been found the most abundant and widespread species. \nIn addition, new localities are mentioned for some species which have already been reported from Kastamonu and Bart\u0131n.<\/div>\n

ABSTRACT: Three species of family Lygaeidae, Melanocoryphus tristrami (Douglas & Scott, 1868), Melanocoryphus albomaculatus (Goeze, 1778), Ischnocoris punctulatus Fieber, 1861, one species of family Rhopalidae, Corizus fenestella fenestella Horv\u00e0th, 1917, one species of family Rhyparochromidae, Aellopus atratus (Goeze, 1778) and Aelia virgata (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1841) (Pentatomidae) are listed. All of species were newly faunistic record of collecting areas. The altitudes of the species varied between 110 meters and 1400 meters.<\/div>\n

ABSTRACT: The main sensory organs of the insects are sensilla who act as thermohygroreceptor, chemoreceptor, or mechanoreceptor and sensilla are found in various structures of insects such as the head, antenna, mouth, and legs. The number, distribution, position, and types of sensilla vary between insect groups and can be used as taxonomic characters. For this reason, since no study has been found on the sensilla of Notonecta viridis Delcourt, 1909 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Notonectidae) in the literature, it is aimed to study the morphology of the sensilla in the antennae and mouth parts of female and male individuals of this species. For this purpose, scanning electron microscope (SEM) techniques were used in this study. After cleaning and drying the female and male N. viridis individuals, the samples were coated with gold or gold-palladium and examined in SEM. According to the results that we got, 3 major types of sensilla with different diameters have been identified on the mouthparts: sensilla basiconica, sensilla trichodea, and sensilla coeloconica. But 2 major types of sensilla were found on the antenna: sensilla basiconica and sensilla trichodea. Of all these sensilla types, the most common is the sensilla trichodea. The results that we got from this research were also compared with other sensilla of different species in the literature, and similarities and differences were revealed.<\/div>\n
